CFA’s Kentucky Double Dollar Program Directoris a senior program leadership position within Community Farm Alliance, providing strategic, operational, and compliance oversight for CFA’s largest statewide program. Kentucky Double Dollars incentivizes purchases of Kentucky-grown foods by participants in SNAP, WIC, and the Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), increasing access to healthy food while driving direct sales to Kentucky farmers across farmers markets, community markets, farm stands, and retail outlets.
The Kentucky Double Dollar Program Directorserves as the single point of accountability for the successful, compliant, and fair implementation of KDD statewide. The position is funded through multiple federal, state, and private funding sources, including USDA GusNIP and Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund (KADF) awards.
Familiarity with Kentucky’s Local Farm and Food System, including the ability to maintain existing relationships and develop positive relationships independently
At least 3 years of experiences working with farmers and local food leaders
Experience working with low-income communities and fair program design
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site programs, preferably in food systems, nutrition incentives, or community-based initiatives
Proven ability to manage grants, budgets, reporting, and compliance requirements
Familiarity with a CRM and/or workplanning software, such as Monday.com.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator or other digital editing software
Experience with WordPress websites
Ability to travel independently 3 to 4 times per month in-state and 3 to 4 times per year out of state
Strong knowledge of SNAP, WIC, SFMNP, and/or USDA-funded program environments
Experience supervising staff and coordinating cross-functional teams
Familiarity with GusNIP, KADF, or similar federal/state funding programs
Ability to work independently without daily supervision
Ability to work remotely
Willingness to learn and adapt new systems and strategies
