Acute Wound Healing Specialist (Grand Rapids MI) (Finance)
Solventum, a new healthcare company with a legacy of solving big challenges, is looking for an Acute Wound Healing Specialist to help clinicians advance wound care. The role combines clinical expertise with sales and business development, driving adoption of Solventum’s solutions in hospital settings.
The Impact You'll Make in this Role You will serve as a consultative wound healing expert and primary contact for hospital wound care decision makers. You’ll educate clinicians, drive adoption of Solventum solutions, expand therapy utilization, and coordinate patient transition of care.
Consult with clinicians on safe and effective use of Solventum products
Attend procedures and placements in the hospital care setting
Deliver sustainable business growth based on sales targets through account and territory management
Identify and solve customer financial & clinical priorities
Educate clinicians on the safe and effective use of Solventum products, including inservicing
Build and maintain relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders
Use clinical and economic evidence to advocate for and grow therapy adoption, including advanced solutions and new product introductions
Persuade key stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products
Provide customer support and service
Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of sales training program
Leverage company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking
Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums
Driving Requirements This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for company business and participation in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program. Candidates must successfully complete a pre‑hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility. Ongoing monitoring of motor vehicle history will be conducted.
Your Skills and Expertise Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience
High School Diploma/GED AND 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Current, valid Driver’s License
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed:
Proven track record of sales quota & target attainment
Prior wound care or medical device sales experience
Demonstrated expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers (e.g., surgeons)
Proven experience in territory management & business planning
Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas
Customer focused selling and closing
Experience navigating complex selling cycles
Completion of a formal sales training program
Experience using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process
Outstanding data and analytical skills
Additional Requirements In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third‑party facilities. Those facilities may require you to possess certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications for regulatory, safety, or other business reasons. All information will be kept in accordance with applicable law and Solventum policies.

Travel Field‑based role with up to 20% overnight travel anticipated (may vary based on territory).

Compensation Applicable to U.S. applicants only: Expected compensation range $141,775 – $173,280 (base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible). Specific compensation may vary based on factors such as knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience. Benefits may include Medical, Dental & Vision, HSA, HCFSA, disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, paid absences, and retirement options.
