What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) As our Director of Nursing, you will play a central role in creating a positive, clinically strong environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities include:
Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing programs, policies, procedures, and departmental goals
Maintain up‑to‑date written nursing manuals, philosophies, and objectives
Coordinate nursing services with other facility departments to ensure integrated resident care
Lead corrective action plans when deficiencies are identified
Complete required clinical forms, assessments, reports, and charting accurately and timely
Develop, implement, and oversee the facility’s Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) program
Support planning and execution of resident admission and discharge processes
Build and maintain an effective nursing services organizational structure
Participate in state and federal regulatory surveys, inspections, and follow‑up actions
Prepare and submit operational and quality reports to the Administrator
Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State of Utah
Minimum
1 year of successful nursing leadership
experience in a SNF or geriatric healthcare setting
Associate degree required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong communication skills – able to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team
A genuine love and concern for the geriatric population
