Responsibilities

Demonstrate deep knowledge of the rare disease marketplace, therapeutic landscape, and product (mechanism of action, indication, efficacy, safety, etc.) to deliver clear, concise, and accurate communication of PRC‑approved content to target audiences.

Apply knowledge of the healthcare industry, trends, laws and regulations, and market conditions to develop business plans and execute daily interactions within compliance guidelines.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians/HCPs, office staff, and others in the patient‑care continuum.

Ask strategic, insightful questions to gather information on customer needs; use insights to help offices identify appropriate patients.

Demonstrate strong account management skills: account planning, field resource coordination, customer education, promotion, reporting.

Work independently and effectively as part of a team; foster collaboration and communicate progress and best practices to cross‑functional teams.

Enter required CRM data, including target responses, notes, and follow‑through actions in accordance with policies.

Conduct in‑service meetings with HCPs to educate on the company’s product and disease state, including provision of meals and accurate documentation per company policy.

Organize, facilitate, and manage speaker programs; obtain required approvals for sponsorships and exhibit booths; attend conferences per company policy.

Manage daily sales call activities to optimize time and maximize achievement of sales objectives.

Comply with all pertinent company policies and training.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.

Documented history of sales success.

Specialty sales experience highly preferred; rare disease experience preferred.

Experience with team‑based or collaborative selling.

Ability to travel overnight if required.
