The Chronic Care Specialty Sales Representative is a key member of the Customer Team and plays a critical role in supporting the company’s business model. The role works with the Customer Team to understand and identify customer needs, support pull‑through activities, and provide information to healthcare professionals using approved messaging and resources. The representative demonstrates a results‑oriented mindset, professionalism, and leadership by modeling the required knowledge for successful execution of all field sales competencies.
Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities with specialty physicians, small group practices, solo practices, and other health service providers.
Present therapeutic products and creatively educate people about their usage.
Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the health provider and patient.
Build trust, credibility, and become a true collaborator with healthcare accounts.
Maintain and grow relationships with cardiologists and endocrinologists (preferred).
Launch products and succeed in competitive markets (preferred).
Provide account management and support (preferred).
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (4–6 years) including: professional sales experience, experience in the healthcare/scientific field, marketing experience, or military experience.
1–2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (3+ years preferred for senior profile).
Cardiovascular sales experience and established relationships with cardiologists and endocrinologists preferred.
Strong verbal communication, leadership, planning, and organization skills.
Ability to learn, understand, and convey complex information.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
Drive for self‑development, collaboration, and an action‑oriented work ethic.
Salary and Benefits The annual base salary ranges from $75,000 to $90,000, with additional commission/bonus potential and possible company car or allowance. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), company match 401(k), flexible paid time off (PTO) and sick time, and compliance with federal, state, and municipal paid sick time requirements.
