About the Role We are seeking a
strategic and hands‑on Director of IT
to lead and manage core technology infrastructure and support services for a leading healthcare organization. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems essential to patient care and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of 8 IT professionals across network, server infrastructure, storage, help desk, and data analysis.
Oversee VDI environments (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Horizon View, VX Rail), golden image patching, App Volumes, and Imprivata integration.
Ensure high availability of infrastructure systems, including Pure Storage arrays and LAN/WAN networks.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and IT projects from planning to execution.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and collaborate on security and data integrity.
Support HL7 interface development and optimize Microsoft 365 tools.
Drive long‑term IT strategy and evaluate emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10–15 years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
Healthcare experience required.
Technical expertise in VMware, Pure Storage, Imprivata, HL7, Microsoft 365, and network architecture.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Onsite role with occasional remote flexibility.
Standard business hours with occasional after‑hours support.
