Coordinator of Student Conduct at

University of West Georgia

– Full‑time, permanent. Location: 1601 Maple St, Carrollton, GA 30118. The role is a Clery Act Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Responsibilities

Investigate and adjudicate student conduct cases, reviewing reports for potential violations of the Student Conduct Code and preparing thorough investigation reports to case managers and administrators. Manage daily case reports, assign investigations, collaborate with graduate interns for hearings, document and maintain records in the conduct database, and communicate with students and staff about case status. Coordinate departmental programming, determine educational needs, and deliver structured learning opportunities and presentations to students, faculty, and staff. Maintain the educational online sanction database, updating records and collaborating with stakeholders to keep information accurate and current. Act as a campus‑wide resource for administrators, faculty, staff, and students on general and special conduct issues, designing, implementing, and evaluating workshops and presentations aligned with the office mission. Ensure that the Office of Community Standards practices are in compliance with updated laws, policies, and University System of Georgia changes. Attend department, division meetings, retreats, and professional development workshops, and participate in other committee opportunities and Student Life initiatives assigned by the Associate Vice President and Dean of Students. Collaboratively support the mission, vision, and goals of the University of West Georgia, and perform other duties as assigned, understanding that management retains the right to add or change duties at any time.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (required). Preferred is a Master’s in a related field with at least one year of higher education experience in a similar setting. Experience working in higher education or a similar setting, including at least one year of experience in higher education or a comparable setting. Strong communication, organizational, and investigative skills; proficiency with case management databases and ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously. Knowledge of the Clery Act, Campus Security Authority responsibilities, and student conduct policies.

Compensation

$50,540.00 – $52,561.00 annually, paid monthly on a monthly basis.
