Responsibilities

Oversee the entire shipping process for finished tube products, coordinating communication with export and domestic dispatchers, ensuring timely loading, managing inventory, and maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations, including daily trips to the outside pipe yard for inventory management.

Accurately enter and process invoices into the company database, ensuring payment information, amounts, and due dates are correctly recorded.

Input and monitor receivable material data, logging all incoming materials upon receipt.

Track and update raw material usage against production needs; maintain records of quantities, dates, and batch information.

Regularly update and maintain inventory records in the system; track inventory levels and flag discrepancies for investigation.

Generate and assist with daily, weekly, or monthly reports regarding material usage, inventory status, and invoicing; provide insights on shortages, overages, and trends.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the system; perform routine checks for completeness and consistency.

Work closely with production, purchasing, quality, and finance teams to ensure accurate data flow and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Act as the first line of contact for customers and vendors, responding promptly via phone, email, or other channels.

Address and resolve customer and vendor concerns, complaints, or discrepancies professionally and in a timely manner, escalating issues when necessary.

Ensure finished tube products are properly inspected, packed securely, and labeled according to customer specifications, including required documentation or certifications.

Monitor and manage inventory levels of finished goods and maintain up-to-date records of all shipments.

Maintain detailed records of shipping activities and prepare reports for management; track key performance metrics related to shipping operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, with an understanding of inventory control principles.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities and proficiency in record-keeping.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or at least 3 years of related work experience.

Must be able to pass a federal background check as part of the hiring process.

Mandarin language skills are a plus.
