The Event Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the firm’s marketing and business development efforts through thoughtfully planned and well‑executed events that reflect the firm’s brand and values.
Position Overview
The Event Coordinator will support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts by planning, executing, and managing firm events and sponsorships. This role works closely with attorneys, administrative staff, and external vendors to ensure that all programs reflect the firm’s brand and deliver a high‑quality experience. Basic graphic design skills are a plus for creating event‑related materials.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external firm events, including seminars, client appreciation events, webinars, conferences, and community activities.
Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, invitations, registration, and day‑of‑event coordination.
Oversee the firm’s sponsorship commitments, ensuring timely deliverables, visibility, and brand consistency.
Assist with the design and production of event‑related collateral (digital invitations, signage, brochures, social media graphics, etc.).
Track RSVP lists, manage event registration platforms, and coordinate follow‑up outreach.
Maintain the firm’s calendar of marketing and sponsorship commitments.
Work with the Marketing & Business Development team to promote events through digital channels and internal communications.
Maintain the firm’s contact lists and event management systems.
Work with the marketing and business development team to evaluate event performance and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of event planning experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.
Experience using event RSVP, CRM and other platforms preferred.
Comfort working under deadlines and in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The pay range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience. For the first 90 days, you will be required to work completely onsite. Hybrid work arrangement out of our Century City office, with the expectation to be in the office 4 times per week and on an as needed basis. Full‑time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
