Senior Director, OSP Operations
Our client is immediately hiring a Senior Director, OSP Operations to lead fiber‑to‑the‑home installation and service activities across multiple regions. This role focuses on building the operational structure, workforce capacity, and performance systems needed to support rapid growth in residential fiber deployments. This position is remote but in the field about 50% of the time; Preferred residence within the Northern Shenandoah or Central Virginia regions. Field travel may occur within a 65–250-mile radius on average.
Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience
4+ years as a Director or higher
Ability to travel in the field for site visits ~30-50%
Early career experience as a Telecom Field Tech / Field Engineer
Consistent upward career progression
Financial Operations experience; Managing multi‑million dollar budgets, cost modeling, reports, forecasting and alike
Strong experience managing multiple vendors
Strong and recent experience with a fiber‑based ISP
Nice to Have
Experience scaling installs by thousands per month
Experience working for large companies
Day to Day The Sr. Director of OSP Operations oversees all operational workflows related to fiber installations, service calls, and network repairs, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. The Senior Director leads managers across multiple regions, drives alignment between Construction, Sales, IS, and Fiber Operations, and provides ongoing performance, financial, and KPI oversight. They actively manage vendors, allocate resources, and maintain strong compliance, safety, and governance standards. The role also requires regular reporting to executive leadership and continuous optimization of processes to support rapid scaling of monthly fiber installations.
