Big Sky Specialty Compounding is looking for a dedicated, detail-loving, safety-driven Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and Director of Compounding to guide our non-sterile compounding operations in beautiful Kalispell, Montana. What You’ll Do
Lead pharmacy operations with full responsibility for compliance, quality, and safety. Oversee and participate in preparing high‑quality non‑sterile compounded medications. Ensure strict adherence to USP
and USP
standards. Develop, implement, and monitor QA programs, training, documentation, audits, and equipment upkeep. Maintain strong safety protocols, including PPE use and hazardous drug handling. Review prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness. Mentor and support technicians and staff for optimal workflow and continuous improvement. Partner with clinicians, providers, and patients to support exceptional medication therapy outcomes. Troubleshoot, innovate, and think creatively to deliver outstanding compounding solutions. Bring adaptability, problem‑solving, and a can‑do attitude to daily operations. What You Bring
PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Experience in non‑sterile compounding, including hazardous drug handling. Strong working knowledge of USP
and
. Leadership experience or prior PIC role strongly preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills. A self‑driven mindset, Montana‑style work ethic, and a positive, collaborative approach. A desire to manage the compounding pharmacy as if it were your own—with full support from our team. Bonus Skills
