Executive Director/LALD
for the Cook, MN location. This full‑time, exempt position will oversee the Cook, MN Carefree Living facility.
Position Summary The Executive Director is responsible for the day‑to‑day caring, physical, financial, administrative and human‑resource operations of the assisted‑living facility. As appropriate, the Director will expand services into the community.
Responsibilities
Ensure appropriate health‑care and related services are delivered consistent with care plans; meet with families and participate in care‑plan meetings.
Manage environmental and dining services to provide an enjoyable, safe, and healthy environment for residents and staff.
Develop and implement safety programs to protect residents, staff, and visitors, and coordinate workers’ compensation processes.
Develop marketing strategies to achieve financial stability while maintaining excellent care; recruit to increase census.
Supervise professional and paraprofessional staff, set goals, and evaluate performance.
Participate in annual budgeting and long‑term strategic planning.
Build and maintain relationships with county social workers, hospital discharge planners, and other community providers.
Qualifications
Hold or be willing to acquire a current LADL: Licensed Assisted Living Director License.
Possess a bachelor’s or advanced degree in nursing, business, social services, geriatric care, or a related field.
Have five to seven years of progressively responsible supervisory or clinical management experience, preferably in health care.
