Our client, a publicly traded, multi‑brand retail company, is seeking a Director of FP&A to serve as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership and the Board.
This role leads enterprise‑level financial planning, forecasting, and long‑term strategic modeling while overseeing a high‑performing FP&A team. The ideal leader brings a strong blend of financial rigor, operational insight, and strategic vision within a complex, consumer‑driven environment.
What you’ll do:
Partner with executive leadership on strategic, financial, and operational decision‑making
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
Build and oversee advanced financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, scenario analysis)
Analyze performance across corporate, franchise, and real estate portfolios
Translate complex data into clear insights for senior leadership and Board presentations
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and reporting tools
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of FP&A managers and analysts
What we’re looking for:
10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including senior leadership responsibility
Background in a public company environment; retail or consumer industry preferred
Deep experience with budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning, and complex modeling
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner cross‑functionally
Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise (Hyperion/Oracle a plus)
MBA preferred
