Do you enjoy helping others reach their full potential? If so, a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position with Ardmore Enterprises could be the perfect fit. As a DSP you’ll play an essential role in ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities feel respected and empowered to choose and participate in community events and activities.
Responsibilities
Support individuals in achieving personal goals with a person‑centered focus.
Teach independent living and daily skills, including grooming and personal care routines.
Plan, coordinate, and participate in social activities and frequent community outings.
Instruct and support residents in household tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation and food shopping.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong communication skills with individuals receiving services.
Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special needs populations.
