Events Coordinator (Contract) This 6‑month, 40‑hour per week contract position is responsible for executing and planning all marketing events for tarte cosmetics. The role works cross‑functionally with PR, influencers, marketing, and creative teams to coordinate key activations.
Responsibilities
Plan event logistics, including travel, venues, vendor sourcing, shipping, and on‑site problem‑solving.
Drive project timelines to stay organized and meet all deadlines.
Manage creative execution of events, including creation of branded collateral, décor, and on‑site setup.
Brainstorm and source creative activations, vendors, and activities for events.
Seek out and facilitate collaboration with like‑minded brands for event collaboration and gifting opportunities.
Negotiate contracts and pricing as needed.
Coordinate guest lists and invitations across cross‑functional teams.
Act as the main point of contact on‑site for all events.
Manage and work within the department budget.
Support HR and other cross‑functional departments as needed for internal/corporate events.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required.
2+ years of event planning experience.
Experience with media and/or influencer events is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi‑task.
Ability to be flexible and troubleshoot problems in real time.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Domestic and international travel required.
Hourly rate: $32/hour (compensation varies by skill level, experience, and education).
