Sales Agronomist
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Agronomist position consists of supporting our client company's portfolio of products as well as providing support to customers. This position will be assigned a specific geographic territory in Montana and will be expected to maintain and grow sales in this region based on established goals. The Sales Agronomist position will be a direct report to the Director of Sales.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
S. Degree in Agronomy / Agriculture related field or (5) years of industry experience is required.
Strong selling and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team focused environment.
Current and relevant knowledge of agronomy and business development.
Comfort and effectiveness in public speaking.
Proficient time management skills.
JOB DUTIES
Gain necessary knowledge to sell and promote the line of products offered.
Responsible for the sales, marketing, and customer relationships needed to maintain/grow sales in assigned geographical region.
Build strong business relationships with key channel partners and provide support and education as needed.
Provide necessary education at grower and dealer level by coordinating meetings and events to promote company products.
Creation and execution of annual business plan for assigned territory.
Attendance required at all company meetings to expand product knowledge.
Responsible for managing personally held inventory.
