This Position reports to: Business Health, Safety & Env Manager

Responsibilities

Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.

Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.

Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.

Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group‑wide and business‑specific performance improvement programs and practices.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree OR 5 years prior experience in HSE

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Health/Safety or Environment or Nursing, LPN, RN

Experience with Data Analytics, Report Compiling and Excel Data Management

Prior experience supporting Health, Safety and Environment or working in an HSE role

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

About the Division ABB’s Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid. The Division offers segment‑specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities, industry and infrastructure segments, often providing the requisite medium‑voltage link between high‑voltage transmission systems and low‑voltage users.
