Since 1948, Easterseals New Jersey has worked to meet the continuously growing needs of people with disabilities and their families. Its services for mental health conditions and intellectual/developmental disabilities provide daily living support and community‑based programs that teach individuals with special needs valuable life skills through instruction and real‑world experiences.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily operations across multiple residential sites, ensuring compliance with licensing standards.
Manage the residential budget, staff schedules, and overtime.
Monitor fiscal, medical, and personal documentation for accuracy.
Participate in Inter‑Disciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP) development.
Prepare and submit monthly operational reports.
Ensure accurate documentation to meet consumers’ needs (employment, recreational, emotional).
What You’ll Have
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
At least 1 year of management experience in a DDD residential setting required.
Proven leadership, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including working with individuals with mental illness.
Intermediate computer skills including the ability to complete documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Knowledge of state/local regulations.
