GreatLIFE Golf – Golf Course Superintendent
Falls Village Golf Club is seeking a full-time, salaried Golf Course Superintendent. The position includes a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision coverage, Paid Time Off, and Holiday Pay.
Salary:
$70,000 to $80,000 annually
Job Description Manage and maintain all aspects of agronomy for the golf course, property, and club house grounds.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage BMP’s for the golf course, property and club houses grounds.
Build and manage the annual agronomic budget, including a 12‑month agronomic, labor and operational plan.
Communicate effectively in written and spoken format with team members and department heads.
Maintain long‑range equipment replacement and infrastructure improvement plans.
Implement and enforce a comprehensive safety program for employees, members and guests in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Ensure proper use, storage, and disposal of chemicals and fertilizers in compliance with regulations, and maintain accurate records.
Recruit, hire, train and manage a strong property maintenance team; ensure cross‑training in all facets of operation.
Develop and implement staff development programs.
Coordinate with other departments on scheduled events, maintenance plans, and course conditions.
Maintain equipment, irrigation systems, and construction projects on schedule and within budget.
Submit invoices, inventory counts, and other administrative documentation promptly.
Attend conferences, equipment shows and workshops to remain current with turf innovations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant or Soil Science; or Associates degree or equivalent experience.
to four years of related experience in golf course management or agronomy preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions; will be required to complete a background check.
Physical Demands Full range of mobility required; ability to lift/pull/push up to 100 lbs; exposure to weather, chemicals, and mechanical hazards; extended hours during golf season.
