In the role of Proposal Manager, we’ll count on you to manage the proposal and pursuit process for key transportation-related clients in NY/NJ, including transit, highways & roads, aviation, and construction management projects. Responsibilities
Manage the proposal and pursuit process for key transportation-related clients in NY/NJ, including transit, highways & roads, aviation, and construction management. Independently manage the pursuit process from capture planning to proposal development, through interview preparation stages. Conduct and facilitate pursuit and proposal meetings; lead pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materials. Collaborate with pursuit teams and technical staff to develop win strategies and key messaging. Conceptualize, research, and produce marketing materials, proposals, promotions, and presentations, including nontechnical writing. Elevate technical writing by creating callouts or graphics to enhance readability for reviewers; develop and coordinate layouts and graphics. Write non-technical text, edit and proofread marketing collateral, and write compelling content based on information provided by technical staff. Ensure timely production and quality of marketing communications (proposals, presentations, and external communications). Lead and support interview coaching and presentation development for shortlist interviews; interface with clients and sub-consultants. Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard procurement practices; 8 years of AEC industry experience preferred. Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success. Quick self-starter, team-oriented, and able to work with diverse professional styles. Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others; ability and desire to travel and engage in-person. Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff. Local candidates preferred. Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience. Demonstrated self-starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight. Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign). Company Values
