We’re seeking an outside sales representative to identify new target buyers and upsell to current customers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a service‑oriented outside sales expert that can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. Responsibilities
Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in‑person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information
Show our solution to prospects with sales presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures
Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying prospective customers quickly and thoroughly
Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages
Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves
Contact pre‑qualified leads without cold calling to schedule appointments
Establish connections with new clients to build lasting relationships
Develop expertise in our products to effectively address customer needs
Highlight product features that directly solve customer problems
Address customer inquiries promptly and efficiently
Collaborate with colleagues across various sectors
Manage contact lists and proactively follow up with customers to nurture relationships
Participate in weekly training sessions over Zoom to stay engaged with the team
Qualifications
Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills
At least 2 years of outside sales experience preferred
Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales
High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred
Deadlines and details motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team alike
Must be able to pass a background check and reside in the USA with authorization to work
Should possess a computer/laptop equipped with a camera, microphone, and reliable internet service
Must either have or be willing to promptly obtain a Life Insurance license in their respective state (typically a 2‑4 week process)
Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a desire to assist individuals by offering solutions
Display perseverance, determination, and a proactive work ethic
Willingness to learn and be receptive to coaching opportunities
Compensation $50,000 - $100,000+ yearly commission only
