What You'll Do
Avalara is looking for experienced Account Development Representatives (ADRs) to identify net new prospects and high‑value opportunities through outbound prospecting. The function of an ADR serves as an important part of our sales process.
Location: Onsite role, 4 days a week in office, based in Durham. You must be within a 1‑hour commute to Durham and report into a Sales Manager. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Create quality opportunities and schedule meetings for our sales teams by using leads or accounts provided by marketing via telephone, email, and other means.
Become an expert on Avalara products and services and maintain relevant industry knowledge.
Maintain active engagement with leads through scheduled follow‑up communications to increase interest in Avalara products.
Improve customer participation in webinars, certification events, and conferences.
Achieve monthly quotas of qualified and sales‑accepted opportunities.
