Overview
Join the Guitar Center team as a Senior Sales Associate at Store 523. The role pays $19.09 to $23.86 per hour plus commission based on experience and performance. Responsibilities
Engage customers in a welcoming environment that inspires musical exploration. Achieve and exceed sales targets by upselling and cross‑selling instruments, accessories, and recording equipment. Maintain expert knowledge of all product lines and share that knowledge with colleagues and customers. Build and nurture customer relationships, serve as a local community resource, and support teammates to become the go‑to music partner. Organize displays, restock shelves, and maintain store appearance in a music store vibe. Lead, mentor, and support fellow associates on customer interactions and operational tasks, including opening and closing duties as a keyholder. Qualifications
Strong passion for music and solid understanding of instruments and music products. Proven sales success with a track record of exceeding targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Resilient in a fast‑paced retail environment with top‑notch organizational skills. Ability to influence teammates, inspire collective achievement, and drive performance. Flexibility to work additional hours and evenings as needed. Benefits
