Due to our continued growth, we are actively expanding our Architect Representative Team that calls on local architect and design firms. Come be a part of our exciting growth!
JOB SUMMARY Gunton Corporation, the largest independent distributor of Pella Windows & Doors in the country, is an innovative leader in our industry. Our Sales Representatives provide solutions for our customers' window and door needs and are key to our success since 1932.
TERRITORY We love when our Sales Reps live in the territory they sell. The Architect Representative will be based out of our Pottstown office and service the Greater Philadelphia area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote the specification of Pella products with architects and design firms.
Generate business by leveraging/creating business development opportunities with architectural firms, and potential other avenues.
Open avenues through various activities that will provide opportunities to increase our commercial and trade fenestration products market share.
Promote yourself and Gunton Corporation through membership, networking, and participating at relevant industry organizations.
Initiate and market Gunton events within the design community to promote relationships with current Pella users and introduce us to new prospective business partners.
Promote, schedule, prepare, and conduct box lunch programs in conjunction with Outside Sales Representatives as appropriate.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Reports to Commercial Segment Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift and carry sales tools that could weigh up to 50 pounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in sales working with architects or architectural firms.
College degree.
Experience working with Architects & Design Firms.
Experience in Construction.
