Wholesale Accounting Manager – Manhattan (on-site, fully in office)
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven sales professional who has demonstrated wholesale to retail success with consumer products and big‑box retailers. The sales professional will work in the office and drive sales growth through relationship development and management with retailers and distributors.
The successful candidate will have experience selling $1M - $3M+ annually into large national brand retailers.
Responsibilities
Expand market share and increase sales, collaborating closely with product development and marketing teams to analyze trends and identify opportunities for growth and improved sales.
Build, maintain and manage strong working relationships with key accounts, developing and presenting sales proposals, negotiating contracts and providing solutions to customers.
Maintain a working pipeline of prospects, client interactions and sales activities and develop accurate and timely sales performance and forecasting reports for management.
Stay updated product knowledge and industry trends, effectively communicating features, options and benefits to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing or related field.
4+ years of consumer product goods and/or wholesale sales (hard goods experience ideal).
Demonstrated ability to build and manage customer relationships.
Self‑motivated team player, able to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Compensation Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr – $75,000.00/yr. Additional compensation includes commission. Total base salary may range between $50k – $100k, with additional commission‑based earnings for total compensation in the $150k – $200k range.
