Job Overview Route Sales Representatives are critical to our success at Frito Lay. They deliver, sell, and merchandise the complete line of Frito Lay products including Lays, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, and many more to local stores such as gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores. As a Route Sales Representative, you drive a Frito Lay truck to different stores, work independently to unload orders, merchandise product, and partner with store managers to increase sales, order, and maintain records throughout the day. This role can open the door to career opportunities with us or our parent company, PepsiCo.
Responsibilities
Learn the basics of the role in four to six weeks of dedicated driving and selling training with our team members.
Run routes, experience different stores, and meet new customers.
Grow sales on the route by building relationships, selling in displays, and completing national initiatives.
Attain a route with set days off/schedule with time.
Work in a fun, fast‑paced, and physical environment; the company operates 24 hours a day, so you may need to work weekends and holidays, and you will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift.
Qualifications
Be 21 years of age or older.
Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and ability to obtain other licensures as required by state law.
Be able to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
