Overview
Agency Sales Representative position at Kanopi Studios. The role involves working with potential clients, qualifying leads, and developing value-based, consultative solutions for website projects. You will collaborate with the CEO, Client Engagement Manager, and Sales Engineering team to develop technical and creative solutions, provide accurate estimates, and support the Implementation Team after sale closure. This is a full-time, remote role open to applicants in the US or Canada.
Base pay range:
$58,000.00/yr - $70,800.00/yr .
Responsibilities
Intake and assess client needs to align with Kanopi Sales' quarterly strategic goals and industry focus
Leverage Kanopi's Sales Checkpoints and Milestones to qualify new leads and set opportunities up for success
Follow up on active leads in the pipeline, addressing technical and business objections
Facilitate calls with key decision-makers and conduct in-depth needs assessments
Capture clients\' essential requirements, business goals, KPIs, and assumptions for strategy, design, development, and support services
Present Kanopi\'s solution through sales materials and proposals
Maintain documentation within tools like Teamwork and HubSpot, ensuring data, notes, and tasks are accurate
Track outcomes and results for deals in HubSpot
Own business development relationships with potential clients, coordinating with the Sales Team
Create new relationships to engage clients and project teams
Collaborate with managers to brainstorm and develop sales tactics and presentations
Lead pitch logistics and presentations to clients
Meet or exceed revenue targets quarterly/annually
Contribute to the development of creative assets and other sales documents
Coordinate and ensure accuracy in service agreements for support and project opportunities
Ensure all project information handoffs meet internal documentation standards for Sales Engineering and Implementation teams
Qualifications
Proven agency experience cultivating business and acquiring/growing clientele in the website, SaaS, or technology space
Ability to work collaboratively and consistently
Demonstrated passion for helping clients succeed
Experience turning challenges into opportunities
Presentation experience with strong written and verbal communication
Experience promoting strong creative thinking
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-directed, team player, and fast learner
Inclusive, supportive, and thoughtful communication
Passion for the web and open source development
Technical experience with websites or technical services is a bonus
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
3+ years of Drupal & WordPress website sales experience
Past experience as a website sales or business development representative with B2B sales at a digital agency
Experience with HubSpot and TeamWorkflow
Compensation & Work Requirements This is a full-time, salary-based position (non-commissioned). We operate with a collaborative, team-focused model. The starting salary ranges from
$58,000.00 - $70,800.00 , commensurate with experience and geographic location. This is a 100% remote role, but you must live and be able to work in the US or Canada.
