Regional Sales Manager

Position Overview
Role will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share within a designated region. This position involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and nurturing relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the medical device industry with a proven track record of success in their territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for building relationships with advanced selling techniques (e.g., Miller Heiman, TAS, Spin Selling, etc.)
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets
Conduct territory reviews and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management
Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's capabilities, including market trends and competitive landscape
Define long‑term and short‑term sales strategy for the region
Achieve satisfactory profit margin(s) with each account
Work closely with engineering and program management to execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and drive market expansion
Maintain accurate and timely records, sales forecasts, and account activity reports—including pipeline progress—in the CRM system
Coordinate closely with BD specialists for collaborative handoffs
Travel as needed
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
8+ years sales experience in the medical device industry
Proven experience in growing key customer business year over year
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines as established by internal/external customers
Experience in solution selling
Proven record of developing deep customer relationships and being viewed as a value contributor by customers
Ability to effectively present information to senior management, inter‑company groups, and any individual or group representing our customer
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
