Private Dining Coordinator - Eataly Flatiron

Job Description The Private Dining & Events Coordinator supports sales and execution of private events, catering, and banquets across our NYC locations. This role is ideal for an organized, guest‑focused professional excited to grow within a dynamic hospitality sales environment. The coordinator works closely with the Private Dining Manager to ensure seamless planning, communication, and on‑site coordination for events of all sizes.
Event Coordination & Guest Communication
Respond to private dining and event inquiries in a timely, polished, and professional manner.
Schedule and conduct site visits and walkthroughs with potential clients.
Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, and BEOs.
Support client communication pre‑ and post‑event (menus, timelines, headcount, etc.).
Administrative & Platform Support
Maintain accurate records in event management platforms (Tripleseat, Reposite, etc.).
Help track deposits, payments, and required documentation.
Coordinate details with culinary and service teams to ensure accurate event planning.
Prepare printed menus, signage, and event collateral as needed.
Day‑of Event Support
Assist with event setup and breakdown alongside FOH and BOH teams.
Greet clients and serve as their on‑site point of contact.
Liaise between client and service team to ensure expectations are met.
Monitor service flow and timelines to support smooth execution.
Reporting & Feedback
Support post‑event recaps and feedback collection.
Log guest feedback and identify trends for continuous improvement.
Communicate regularly with the Private Dining Manager and Corporate Coordinator.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in private dining, catering, events, or a related hospitality field.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Tripleseat, Reposite, SevenRooms a plus.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event needs.
Passion for Italian food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Job Requirements
Ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Flexibility to support events across multiple NYC locations.
Compensation This position pays a base rate of $25–$28 per hour plus commission.
