Position Summary We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused

Account Relationship Manager (ARM)

to maintain and grow customer accounts throughout the

Tampa, FL area . This role is responsible for developing strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering value-based solutions to manufacturing and industrial customers.

Successful candidates will be familiar with the local market, comfortable working in manufacturing environments, and highly organized with a strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience. Account Relationship Managers partner closely with Stellar Specialists, supplier representatives, and customer experience teams to deliver solutions designed to improve customer efficiency, reduce cost, and increase profitability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-minded professional with an interest in industrial products and a consultative, solution-driven sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple customer accounts within an assigned territory, ensuring high levels of customer retention and satisfaction

Build and grow an account base to its maximum sales and gross margin potential while upholding Stellar's vision of:

Ideal Customer Supplier Partnerships

Develop and implement account-specific sales growth plans for each customer and location

Gain and maintain a strong understanding of Stellar's value proposition and consistently execute it

Identify opportunities to provide value to customers through cost reduction, productivity improvements, and efficiency gains; document and report cost savings through Documented Cost Savings (DCS) initiatives

Partner with local supplier representatives and Stellar Specialists to deliver technical solutions and improved efficiencies

Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, research, and cold calling, utilizing CRM tools (Salesforce)

Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and manage territory development effectively

Plan, organize, and schedule daily and weekly sales activities to maximize territory coverage

Maintain current knowledge of products, applications, and industry trends

Achieve mastery of Stellar systems, tools, and internal resources

Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to professional development

Perform other duties as required

Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Consistently meet or exceed monthly and year-to-date sales and gross margin targets

Prepare and execute target and key account sales plans, including CRM activity and DCS tracking

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical and commercial information

Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ability to listen effectively and translate customer needs into actionable solutions

Technical aptitude with the ability to learn industrial products and applications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

Willingness and flexibility to travel overnight as needed for training, sales meetings, and supplier events

Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory

Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of outside sales experience required

Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, metalworking, or cutting tools is preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
