Product Sales Manager (Greater Memphis, TN)
Position Summary: This role is responsible for driving profitable growth for an assigned product portfolio by developing and executing strategic initiatives. Key focus areas include product lifecycle management, market expansion, pricing strategy, and customer support. The Product Line Manager partners cross‑functionally to ensure the product offering aligns with customer needs and business goals.
Scope of Role: Works closely with commercial teams, engineering, supply chain, and quality to guide product strategy, forecast demand, and maintain competitive positioning. Regular interaction with customers and distribution partners supports product applications and identifies growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead product strategy and execution across the full lifecycle — portfolio planning, positioning, pricing, and channel strategy.
Identify and evaluate market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to guide product decisions and roadmap priorities.
Partner with Engineering to define and prioritize product enhancements, innovation opportunities, and new product initiatives.
Support sales and channel partners with product expertise, training, and strategic guidance to capture new revenue opportunities.
Develop marketing content and product communications to strengthen market awareness and demand generation.
Track and analyze sales performance, margins, and profitability; recommend appropriate actions to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Maintain strong product and application expertise to effectively support strategic decision‑making.
Participate in product commercialization activities, including launches, pricing reviews, and promotional planning.
Visit customer and channel locations to provide technical support and expand product adoption.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in product management, technical sales, or a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Demonstrated strength in market analysis, product strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems such as ERP, CRM, or related applications.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
