Outside Sales Representative
at Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. Join a nationally recognized equipment rental leader to drive business growth and deliver outstanding service to customers across the Southern region.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage cold‑calling and closing skills to expand and manage existing portfolio within a high‑demand market.
Develop territory strategy, implement sales plans, and retain current customer base while building national Sunbelt brand identity.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide customers with tailored solutions for construction, industrial, and specialty equipment.
Qualifications
4‑year college degree in related field with at least 1 year of experience, OR 3‑4 years of outside sales experience.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Minimum age 21.
Strong project‑management, new‑business development, and customer‑retention skills.
Effective communication, negotiation, and computer proficiency.
Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) may be preferred at some locations.
Physical Demands Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors as required.
Compensation Base pay range: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00. Additional compensation includes company vehicle and robust commission plan.
