Role Description We are looking for a dynamic and results‑driven

Regional Sales Manager

to drive revenue growth in the U.S. Midwest market. You will be responsible for selling Derq’s intelligent transportation solutions to state, county, and municipal agencies, and partners. Reporting to the EVP of Sales, you will execute sales strategies, build strong relationships, and drive opportunities from prospecting to close.

Key Responsibilities

Being proficient with Derq’s systems and software solutions

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets

Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and key stakeholders

Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research

Manage a network of business partners and distribution channels

Monitor and support in responding to relevant RFPs and RFIs

Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities

Represent Derq at industry events, conferences, and public speaking engagements

Maintain CRM records for accurate forecasting and pipeline management

What You’ll Need

7+ years of experience selling Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) solutions and/or AI‑driven transportation technology to U.S. government agencies

Proven ability to manage distribution partners and grow customer accounts

Entrepreneurial mindset with a team‑oriented and collaborative approach

Experience working remotely with minimal oversight with proven decision‑making skills

Strong communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Willingness to travel up to 50% within the U.S.
