Senior Networking Technology Sales Specialist

Your day at NTT DATA As a Senior Networking Technology Sales Specialist, you will use your expertise to pursue and secure qualified leads, working closely with our Client Management team and other departments. You will generate your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base, identify new opportunities within existing accounts, and present tailored solutions that meet client needs, showcasing our value propositions and innovative revenue models. You will spend significant time engaging with clients at various organizational levels, collaborating with internal subject matter experts, and contributing to the pre‑sales process by working with pre‑sales architects to create optimal solutions while building strong, lasting relationships.
Responsibilities
Assert subject matter expertise in Secure Networking technology and support the closure of sales based on this knowledge.
Address technology conceptual challenges during the sales process.
Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategy to penetrate new markets.
Build and nurture professional relationships within assigned accounts, co‑own the client relationship and continuously build trust.
Work with relevant technology vendors to ensure a deep understanding of their solutions and how they fit into our offerings.
Engage clients to uncover and understand their business goals, articulate delivery‑focused solutions, and conduct workshops and presentations.
Identify and act on new sales opportunities within accounts, collaborating with sales teams to drive closures.
Pursue and land qualified leads identified by client managers and other lead generation sources.
Support the sales strategy and sales plan, defining your own plan to ensure targets are met.
Forecast and manage opportunities in the medium and long term.
Assess and highlight client risks that could affect credibility.
Collaborate with sales teams, especially Client Managers, to close deals successfully.
Use sales methodologies and tools (opportunity plans, account plans) to drive the sales process.
Develop and implement opportunity plans, providing regular check‑ins with key contacts and securing stakeholder buy‑in.
Qualifications
Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals.
Excellent ability to deliver engaging sales presentations and a team‑selling approach.
Thorough knowledge of competitors and ability to employ successful sales strategies.
Advanced negotiation skills to craft mutually beneficial solutions.
Experience in a technology or services environment, especially IT Managed Services.
Strong skills in building and nurturing relationships up to senior leadership level.
Flexibility to adapt quickly to new missions or urgent deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in information technology/systems, sales, or a related field.
Industry/vendor sales certifications required.

Have advanced sales experience in technology or services, particularly in IT Managed Services.
Show advanced experience in solution‑based selling with a proven record of sales over‑achievement.
Have advanced experience in winning complex networking solutions to C‑Level clients.
Show advanced problem‑solving skills in creative ways to meet targets.
Build relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Working Conditions This is a home‑office based position with occasional travel for company meetings. Responsibilities may require evening work in response to working with Asia and European coworkers and supporting the Global Sales Team.
Compensation Target Base Salary: $115K to $140K base plus variable bonus. NTT intends to offer a base pay within this range depending on experience and job‑related requirements. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards offerings that NTT provides to employees. We also offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, supplemental life insurance, spouse and child life insurance, STD, LTD, Flex Spending Accounts and the Company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
