What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting federal agencies, departments, and programs
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within assigned federal accounts
Prospect new business opportunities and manage complex sales situations and large projects
Collaborate with technical teams to create tailored solutions that meet specific government requirements
Stay informed about federal budget cycles, funding sources, procurement regulations, and market trends
What is Required (Qualifications)
8+ years of experience selling to federal government agencies
Demonstrated understanding of federal procurement processes (FAR, DFAR)
Experience with federal contract vehicles (GSA, SEWP, CIO‑SP3, etc.)
Strong network of contacts within federal agencies
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Ability to obtain security clearance if required
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales management tools
Resides in or near the DC area
