About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking an
IT Asset Management Lead (Cross Functional)
to support a government client's IT Asset Management (ITAM) activities. This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting enterprise IT asset management activities across hardware, software, inventory management, compliance reporting, and change governance in alignment with established policies and industry best practices. This is a cross-functional role that works closely with government client representatives and internal IT stakeholders to support governance forums, deliver reporting and metrics, and ensure asset-related processes are documented, tracked, and executed consistently.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the Dedicated Asset Management Lead supporting enterprise IT Asset Management (ITAM) activities
Participate with government client representatives in standing and ad hoc committees and working groups related to asset management strategy and governance
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify, track, and close operational and process gaps
Deliver inventory management, hardware asset management, and software asset management reporting
Develop and maintain compliance dashboards and program KPIs
Assess and evaluate IT Change Records for asset management and compliance considerations
Coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews and support approval of Technical Changes
Designate Technical Changes as Emergency Technical Changes when required
Facilitate asset management and change governance meetings
Document meeting minutes and follow up on outstanding action items from CAB and related meetings
Qualifications Education and Years of Experience:
Degree: Preferred, not required
Experience: 8-10 years of IT Asset Management or related enterprise IT experience to support lead-level responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise IT Asset Management (ITAM) activities in a structured or regulated environment
Working knowledge of hardware, software, and inventory asset management processes
Familiarity with IT change management processes and CAB operations
Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting government clients
Familiarity with ITIL-based asset and change management practices
Experience producing dashboards, metrics, and compliance reporting
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
Min Citizenship Status Required:
Must be a
U.S. Citizen .
