This is achieved by identifying new customer opportunities, handling customer requests, and sending quotes. You will be the voice of CableMaster that wins our customers over, every day. Responsibilities
Business Development: set up meetings with prospective clients to learn about their needs/concerns. Work to develop relationships and create awareness of company offerings.
Follow up with assigned accounts on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction. Hold Business review as needed (Quarterly, Semi-Annually).
Be proactive by contacting multiple new prospects daily.
Direct contact with external customers relating to the sale of CM’s entire product line across various industries. Have a solid understanding of who the customer is and all the different ways CM can support them.
Interacts with existing and potential customers via company telephone and e-mail to qualify sales leads and sell products and services.
Creates and presents quotations to customers emphasizing value-added features and explaining the benefits of selecting our product.
Follow-up with customers on quotations to help obtain orders, discuss objections that may prevent the placement of orders, and offer alternate options if need.
Review purchase orders for proper part number, quantity, pricing, customer request date, terms and coordinate special review with engineering or operations as needed.
Qualifications
4 years of related experience in manufacturing, industrial or engineering sales.
Preferred to have analytical competencies and technical aptitude with respect to the wire and cable industry.
Ability to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets and goals.
Time management and organization skills are required with the ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize situations requiring urgent attention is critical.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
