We are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a part‑time Account Coordinator to join our Social Video Services team – Is this your next opportunity? Responsibilities
The Account Coordinator will be responsible for optimizing video content for YouTube and social platforms across a range of verticals. The role will require being available on the following days and times: Monday - Tuesday: 3pm - 12am Friday: 9am - 6pm There may be opportunities to work additional days and times to cover other shifts. The day‑to‑day role will include video optimization, simple analytical report generation, graphic design, copywriting, YouTube channel maintenance, content logging, channel uploads and other general support to the Social Video Services team. How You Will Spend Your Time
Helping to build and maintain YouTube and/or social video channels (potentially including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok): Optimizing video assets with Photoshop designer thumbnails and well‑written titles/descriptions, utilizing all social platform features and products, contributing with creative ideation and uploading to a schedule agreed upon with the social video services team Growing a YouTube and/or social video audience, and understanding the types of content that keeps them engaged Managing community features on YouTube and/or social channels, including creation of images, GIFs and social posts Writing copy for posts on YouTube and/or social channels, understanding the importance of editorial voice and tone Using platform analytics to help inform strategic channel decisions Managing a materials library, following existing edit processes and naming conventions What You Need To Succeed
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything. Bachelor's Degree Excellent knowledge of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & Snapchat and an interest in the differences between them A basic understanding of social media analytics Good working knowledge of Photoshop to create thumbnails and assets Excellent knowledge of different video formats, video compression, sound/video synchronisation Some knowledge or experience of the social platform content management systems (bonus) Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof‑check your own work Team player with a hard‑working flexible attitude, a good sense of humour and an interest in working in a dynamic start‑up environment Proficiency in other languages (bonus) Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
