Responsibilities
Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
Focus on providing an exceptional store experience, consultative selling, and delivering total solutions to every customer.
Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
Perform Floor Leader role, directing the team to deliver a great customer experience in all areas of the store.
Champion company initiatives, adapt to change, and perform other duties as assigned.
Remain available and support an engaging environment.
Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks within the store.
Assist in completing and delegating operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
Coach the team on behaviors to win, deliver great customer service, and achieve results through role playing and feedback.
Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills & Experience
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
Must be able to engage with customers and understand their needs.
Effective communication skills, strong organization, and adaptability to changing business priorities.
Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others.
Ability to work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
Manage conflict in a reasonable, non‑confrontational, and cooperative manner.
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
Ability to lift/move materials in the 10–50 pound range, climb ladders, stand, and walk continuously.
