as a founding team member helping to launch the Toast Retail platform into convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. You will develop a consultative, entrepreneurial sales approach to grow Toast’s presence in this new vertical. Key Responsibilities
Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. Generate lists of prospective accounts and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close. Conduct demos and develop solutions that best meet each prospect’s unique needs. Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery. Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities. Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market. Qualifications
Entrepreneurial and feedback‑driven mindset. Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision‑making levels. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial team environment. Self‑motivated, creative, flexible, and willing to navigate ambiguity. Residency in or proximity to the assigned market and willingness to travel 25% or more. Optional Nice to Haves

with 25%+ travel. Compensation
Estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range: $129,000–$206,000 USD (inclusive of base, commission, benefits, and equity if eligible). This role qualifies for uncapped commissions. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
