Retail Account Executive - Binghamton, NY at Toast. This role is part of Toast’s expansion into new verticals and the Toast Retail platform. You will join a founding team transforming how convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops operate with a consultative sales approach. Responsibilities
Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops Generate lists of prospective accounts and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close Conduct product demos and develop solutions that best meet the prospect’s needs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery meets sales expectations Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activities Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market Requirements
Entrepreneurial and feedback-driven mindset Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment Self-motivated, creative, flexible, and willing to navigate ambiguity Lives in or near the market Willingness to travel 25% or more Nice to Have
Retail operations experience Compensation and Benefits
The estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range for this role is $129,000—$206,000 USD. Total Targeted Cash includes base salary, commission, benefits, and equity (if eligible).
