Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and help attain corporate objectives, focusing on semiconductor-based applications.

Lead and manage a direct sales team, establishing objectives, measuring performance, and providing timely feedback.

Collaborate with marketing and engineering to develop sales training, webinars, and short courses to increase market awareness.

Recruit, develop, and support the career progression of high‑performing sales talent.

Support the collection of voice‑of‑customer data to advance product development and service offerings.

Drive growth from new products and software solutions and manage key accounts as required.

Participate in quarterly management review and planning sessions to set team direction and ensure revenue targets are met.

Maintain and increase field activities, conduct territory planning, and manage CRM‑Salesforce usage.

Coach team members through joint calls, virtual meetings, constructive feedback, and coaching to develop successful behaviors.

Conduct performance reviews, recommend compensation, training, and development plans.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business.

MBA or advanced technical degree is desired.

Minimum 5‑7 years of direct technical sales experience in capital equipment and/or instrumentation, selling a diverse product portfolio.

Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce is used at TSI).

High integrity, strong prioritization, and ability to build and motivate a cohesive team.

Excellent communication skills and proficiency in current sales methodologies.

Travel ~50‑60% required.

Desired: 3‑5 years of sales management experience, proven track record of achieving targets, familiarity with aerosol science, atmospheric monitoring, and related markets.

Experience in research labs, universities, industrial, state/federal government, military, and advanced manufacturing is highly valued.

Travel Travels ~50‑60% to meet customers, conduct joint calls, attend conferences, trade shows, etc.
