Financial and Professional Services Associate @ Russell Tobin | Connecting Talent to Companies Role Overview

The Analyst will support the

portfolio management platform , with responsibilities across ongoing monitoring, risk oversight, reporting, and borrower interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze borrower servicing reports and collateral data

Track asset-level and facility-level performance metrics

Conduct market and sector research, including esoteric and transportation assets

Operational and Lending Support

Oversee client funding requests and facility usage

Assist senior managers with borrower requests, waivers, and amendments

Maintain communication with internal partners (Credit, Risk, senior management) and external parties (borrowers, co-lenders, regulators)

Reporting & Analytics

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reports

Support process improvement initiatives and data-management enhancements

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5+ years of experience in

banking, fixed income, structured products, rating agencies, or accounting

Strong

Excel and data management

skills (pivot tables, databases, etc.)

Familiarity with

structured products

(ABS, CMBS, RMBS, CLOs)

Solid

PowerPoint

and presentation-creation skills

Excellent

business writing

and communication

Degree in

Business, Finance, Accounting , or related field from a competitive program

Clear and effective communicator

Strong work ethic and collaborative mindset
