Sales Manager

to our sales team. This role is open to onsite in Buffalo Grove, IL, hybrid or remote.

Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement and direct the sales activities of the company to achieve sales objectives. Serve as a sales resource for the entire sales department.

Position Responsibilities:

Assist in developing a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue.

Oversee designated sales representatives and align company objectives with each individual’s sales activities and performance goals.

Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to achieve required performance.

Monitor the sales activity by the sales team on a regular basis, including holding monthly Plan and Reviews with each designated sales representative.

Evaluate performance of sales staff. Work with HR to ensure the proper process is followed regarding any write ups, performance improvement plans, terminations, etc.

Serve as a mentor to the sales team by providing feedback, support and coaching.

Grow MNJ Revenue and Profit Year over Year.

Assist and drive sales within all services and products offered under the MTS umbrella.

Meet with Pre-Sales on an as needed basis to drive activity and sales.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree.

At least 5 years of experience in IT sales.

Must be willing to travel up to 25%.

Must be highly organized.

Ability to multitask and handle various situations throughout each day.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with vendors, customers, employees, and the general public.

The target salary for this role is $150,000/year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
