Responsibilities

Sell guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups.

Manage accounts and conduct site inspections, solicit and generate business.

Prepare and present effective proposals, maintain well organized documentation and reports.

Utilize Hyatt systems and coordinate customer service requirements as appropriate.

Participate in and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings.

Work as a team member with the sales and catering staff and in close contact with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

Refined verbal and written communication skills

A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience

Must be proficient in general computer knowledge

Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training

Selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training

Location & Salary San Antonio, TX | Salary: $120,000.00–$140,000.00
