S/he provides ongoing supervision to assigned supervisory, psychiatric, and support staff. S/he ensures that quality services, in line with City, State, and JBFCS mandates, are consistently provided, and monitors operations to ensure the employment of best-practice methodologies, which are reviewed and updated as necessary. The Program Director maintains relationships with City and regulatory bodies and cultivates additional community resources for referrals and collaboration. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides overall clinical and administrative leadership and management for the program. Ensures programmatic systems are in place to meet client service needs and safety standards. Provides regularly scheduled supervision to all supervisees. Reviews chart documentation to ensure regulatory compliance. Oversees service quality and the implementation of evidence-based models. Ensures compliance with clinical, administrative, and regulatory standards. Collaborates and communicates with ACS and evidence-based model developers and trainers. Evaluates staff performance and ensures timely staff evaluations. Provides coverage as needed. Manages and monitors program budgets to meet contract targets. Maintains standards and requirements of internal and external regulatory agencies. Participates in the intake and disposition process. Addresses community outreach to maintain and expand service census and address client needs. Handles incident reports and risk management activities. Recruits, hires, and addresses staff performance issues. Coordinates staff training and promotes learning-to-practice initiatives. Develops and implements CPI projects. Facilitates staff meetings and case conferences. Manages staff scheduling and case assignments. Ensures collaboration within the program and with external agencies. Tracks and reports program data and outcomes. Provides direct client services as needed. Participates in on-call duties for administrative and crisis management. EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED: NY State licensed mental health practitioner; LCSW preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / LANGUAGE PREFERENCE: Strong administrative, writing, and computer skills. Minimum of three years of supervisory or administrative experience in a relevant setting. Experience with preventive services and evidence-based models is preferred.
