Sales Representative - Money Transfer Financial Services Retail Account Manager (FS‑RAM)
IDT Corporation is looking for an energetic Sales Representative to negotiate agreements with new and existing money transfer agents. The role involves targeting new markets, traveling to prospects, recruiting new agents, and working closely with regional and internal teams to identify prospects.
Responsibilities
Recruit new Retail Agents and assist in closing deals and growing transaction volumes.
Provide support to new and existing agents to achieve agreed-upon transaction and revenue targets.
Formulate, with the Agent Performance Team, promotions, incentives, and long‑term agreements with retail agents.
Participate in events, promotions, and other marketing activities to increase consumer awareness and generate trial and repeat usage.
Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to the Regional Sales Manager and other management.
What we would be happy to see
Minimum 5 years experience selling international money transfer services to small and medium‑sized businesses.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Willingness to travel at least 50% of business time.
Successful record in developing, maintaining, and growing an MT retail network, especially servicing the US‑to‑Africa MT corridor.
Requirements
Proven work experience in a relevant role, including as an account manager.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
Prepared to visit retailers and customers directly.
Basic computer skills – comfortable using tablets and/or Bluetooth equipment.
Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to multitask while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Authorized to work for US employers.
Valid driver’s license and own car (IDT offers mileage and gas reimbursement).
