Regional Sales Manager, OEM Saltwater

This position reports to the National Sales Manager, Saltwater and will work remotely covering the Northeast region (Virginia, North & South Carolina).
As Regional Sales Manager on the Dometic Marine OEM Saltwater team, you will drive sales efforts for Dometic Marine’s key product categories: Ride & Handling, Boat Living, and Mobile Power Solutions. This role requires managing assigned accounts within the territory, deeply understanding customer applications to support strategic selling, and building strong relationships with key boat builders. Additionally, the role may involve acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing in‑depth technical knowledge and support across the organization.
General Responsibilities
Account Management: Effectively manage, account for and grow assigned OEM accounts within the territory, ensuring strong customer engagement and satisfaction.
Customer Application Understanding: Understand customer needs and applications, supporting value‑based selling by aligning product solutions with customer challenges and goals.
Strategic Selling: Drive sales through a customer‑focused approach, emphasizing the unique value proposition of Dometic’s products in OEM applications.
Aftermarket (AM) team Collaboration: Manage list of key OEM dealers and collaborate with the AM team to provide a seamless customer journey from incorporation of Dometic products at OEM level to post‑sales support.
Sales Funnel Management: Manage the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring accurate tracking and follow‑up.
Sales Growth & Strategy: Drive business growth through effective sales planning and execution, ensuring sales targets and new business objectives are met or exceeded.
Product Demonstrations: Lead product presentations, demonstrating technical advantages and aligning features with customer needs, while engaging multiple stakeholders in the decision‑making process.
Market Intelligence: Monitor and report competitive actions that could impact our business to key stakeholders.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, engineering, and product management teams to develop customer solutions and refine product offerings based on market feedback.
Customer Relationship Development: Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders within customer organizations, trade organizations, and boat dealer networks.
SME Responsibilities (when assigned): Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned product categories, providing technical expertise and supporting the team with in‑depth product knowledge.
Perform additional job duties as assigned.
