Account Executive – Granite Insurance
Granite Insurance is looking for a dynamic, client‑focused professional to join our growing team as an Account Executive. In this role you will build and maintain relationships with key clients, provide expert advice on insurance products, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing customized solutions.
Assist with qualifying new business opportunities in conjunction with the sales team.
Stay updated on insurance products, regulations, and industry trends to advise clients on suitable solutions.
Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Analyze clients' risk exposures and recommend coverage options to mitigate risks.
Maintain accurate client records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and handle documentation related to policies.
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and excellent customer service.
Educate clients on coverage options, policy features, and risk management strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators such as client retention rates and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
Proven experience in insurance sales, account management, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management concepts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are a plus.
