Regional Sales Manager, Services Midwest

Vertiv invites applications for the Regional Sales Manager, Services Midwest position. This role is focused on accelerating the growth of aftermarket services within a designated Local Vertiv Office (LVO) territory. The successful candidate will develop and execute a strategic sales plan, build strong partnerships with LVO offices, manage pipelines, provide accurate reporting, and deliver training and performance insights to drive profitable growth.

Position Summary As a Regional Service Sales Manager, you will exercise a customer‑focused, high‑performance culture that aligns regional objectives with local execution. You will lead sales teams, cultivate a customer‑first mindset, and promote collaboration across all touchpoints to achieve revenue targets and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Drive service sales revenue growth by collaborating with LVO offices to implement strategies that meet goals across sales categories and quotas.

Meet or exceed forecast commitments through rigorous pipeline management, Power BI reporting, opportunity management, and quarterly business plans.

Build working partnerships with independent sales offices to foster mutual accountability.

Lead LVO performance and accelerate deals by removing internal barriers and resolving conflicts.

Collaborate with other Regional Sales Managers and business leaders to expand revenue across business lines.

Monitor LVO monthly performance and develop action plans for undersized results.

Facilitate structured on‑the‑job training for LVO Sales Representatives, ensuring proficiency in developing, presenting, quoting, and entering service maintenance agreements.

Cultivate a customer‑first mindset across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of sales experience.

Proven ability to manage multiple offices and achieve regional objectives.

Expertise in negotiating and closing complex transactions involving multiple decision‑makers.

Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Detail‑oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage leads across multiple channels.

Highly motivated and results‑driven with an enthusiastic desire to succeed.

Excellent problem‑solving skills to resolve contract and product issues.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and overall PC skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; collaborative team player.

Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a heavy travel schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of UPS/Power products, data center environments, and service offerings.

Familiarity with Vertiv Representative selling structure.

Working knowledge of the data center industry.

Benefits & Compensation The anticipated salary range for this role in Cleveland, Ohio, IL, and MN localities is between $59,000 to $78,000 per year. Additional compensation includes monthly sales incentive, eligibility for merit increases, annual bonus, stock options, profit‑sharing, allowances, travel and/or car expenses, and sales incentives based on revenue or utilization. The role offers a comprehensive benefits program covering medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401(k). Total compensation details will be provided in the hiring process.
